National Marketing Excellence Awards
Marketers across the UK are being urged to enter the first National Marketing Excellence Awards. Run by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the awards will be judged by a panel of experts in sectors including food and drink, education, retail and IT.
The CIM said that winning one of the new awards would send out a clear message to clients that the victor's work had been acknowledged and was deemed to be among the best in Britain. The awards are all about recognition for exceptional marketing, with the winners receiving well-deserved accolades and enjoying the benefits that recognition brings.
The awards recognise creativity and innovation, originality, and the ability to generate positive impact to an organisation’s bottom line. The recognition of winning a national award from the leading international professional marketing body will help reinforce awareness of the contribution that marketing plays in the success of all organisations.
Uniquely, the Awards will be judged by the best overall contribution made to an industry or sector, not necessarily by individual project. The Awards will assess
marketing expertise, innovation and effectiveness of integrated campaigns through better use of the media, brand, advertising, website or any other above or below
the line marketing activity.
Winning one of these Awards is a clear statement to your clients, your manager and your board that not only have you been successful, but that your work has been acknowledged and is deemed by the judges to be amongst the best in Britain.
Closing date for entries: 5pm on 29th June 2007
Entries eligible for work completed between 01 May 2006 - 30 April 2007
Sector judging round: Beginning of August 2007
Chairman judging session: Mid August 2007
