Internet Marketing in Berkshire
Climbing up search engines is a big part of Internet marketing. In Berkshire, the UK and the World we are now competing with the Best Marketing Agencies.
The search engine spiders are looking at how words are used. The dominance of certain words and how they are phrased. The guys who manage to do this and have other content (or "food") for the spiders to "digest" will be those flying high. So when someone keys in a few words to find out about "marketing in Berkshire" they will hopefully directed to this page.
I have written this piece to do exactly that. Our website is now getting hit by google every couple of days. The newspapers and other content heavy sites get hit twice a day! The more "food" you have the more attractive you are going to be to spiders. And if this "food" is of a quality that is not simply name, address, tel but a page of words relating to the topic, then you become a favourite restaurant. As with any favourite restaurant, the spiders want to tell all their friends and so give you lots of points.
And what do points make... prizes!! So hopefully, when someone does a search for "marketing in Berkshire" this page will now be flying to the top. I loaded this page up at 3pm on Saturday 23rd April 2005. Being a work-a-holic means that anytime is a good time to do a little bit more marketing in Berkshire!
And you're probably thinking. Why is this headed up with a picture of Jon & that bloke of the tele (Steve Rider, BBC's Grandstand)? And the answer is that we all like celebrity and so pictures of famous people make us click to find out more... therefore helping us with our marketing in Berkshire or anywhere around the world!
We met Steve Rider off BBC's Grandstand at the RBWM Business Excellence Awards on 21st April where I was a finalist for Business Personality of the Year 2005.
